Percussionist DOC GIBBS left us in 2021. Based in Philadelphia, Doc toured with, among others, Anita Baker, Whitney Houston, Bob James, Al Jarreau, Erykah Badu, and for a long time, with Grover Washington, Jr. Here to help honor him with a fresh Lest We Forget track on Grover’s “Mister Magic,” are Bob James (piano), Jervonny Collier (bass), Gerry S Gibbs (drums), and Philadelphians Andrew Neu (saxophone), Randy Bowland (guitar) and Edgardo A Cintron (percussion).
